Time

Bias gowns require a 3-6 month period to make. They require time to rest and 'drop' as they are cut on the cross grain. Roughly 3-4 fittings are required over the period of make with the final fitting being close to the wedding date for accuracy of length.

Silk gowns in simpler designs require 6- 12 months to make.

Beaded and lace gowns require 8 months - 18 months to make. With a more complex gown the sooner the process is begun the better, as many many hours of fine hand work may be needed.

Please feel welcome to enquire about having your gown made at any time. Often the more notice the better as we take limited bookings for the year. However note that bookings will be taken no more than 1 and a half years to your wedding date.

Pricing

Bias gowns begin at $3200

Luxurious heavy-weight silk gowns begin at $4000

Beaded & lace couture gowns begin at $6000

Beginning prices are exclusive of GST

Each gown will be priced depending on the design, fine hand work and fabric chosen.

50% deposit is required upon order, 25% mid- construction and 25% pre-collection.

PROCESS

We begin with an appointment in the studio, discussing design style and fabric. You can view current gowns that are underway and sample gowns. Being a made to measure label, your gown will be one of a kind and made from start to finish in the studio to fit you exactly. There are always a few samples that you are welcome to try however we encourage you to bring silhouette and design ideas with you. There is no charge for this initial appointment.

A final design sketch and quote will be emailed to you following your first meeting.

3-6 fittings will be planned on a timeline leading up to your wedding date. Collection is 1 month-2 weeks before.
